TOEIC BRIDGE® TEST SCORE OVERVIEW 

The TOEIC Bridge test is not a pass-or-fail test. Test results indicate proficiency levels in listening to and reading in English.

Scores on the TOEIC Bridge test are determined by the number of correct answers, which is converted to a scaled score. The score report provides Listening, Reading and total scaled scores. The total scaled score is derived from adding the two scaled scores together. Understanding Your Scores

The TOEIC Bridge® Can-Do Guide (PDF) may help you interpret TOEIC Bridge scores within specific contexts. The guide presents a series of tables that describe the activities that test takers in certain score bands are able to do, are able to do with difficulty, and are not able to do.

Scoring Process

The scoring process is a critical factor when evaluating a quality assessment. Listening and reading skills are measured using multiple-choice questions with which the objectivity of scores is certain. The scoring of multiple-choice answer sheets is automated and quality control procedures ensure accuracy.

Score Validity

Scores are used to measure your English proficiency at the time that a test is administered. Because English-language skills may improve or decline over time, a score report will not be reissued if two years have passed since taking the test.
